Welcome to Conwy!
Views of Conwy

Conwy - A Photographer's Paradise!

Conwy is home to Conwy Camera Club, the biggest photographic society in Wales and the oldest in North Wales. The strong local interest in photography is partly because so many people find the area such a wonderfully inspiring place for photography.

Conwy quayside With Snowdonia, Anglesey and other scenic delights rubbing shoulders with castles, historic towns, beaches and estuaries, the town of Conwy is a photographer's paradise. As well as Conwy's obvious heritage of buildings and bridges, there is the bustle of the quay, the ever-changing light on the estuary and the enchanting woodlands at Bodlondeb.

Of course we cannot forget the stunning views from Conwy Mountain to other parts of Snowdonia, as well as over the sea to Anglesey and the Great Orme.
Conwy Camera Club's own website shows many examples of how club members have interpreted the Conwy town area and the wider region of North Wales

The Club is well equipped for digital imaging and some of our extensive range of photographic images can be seen on the Conwy Camera Club website

To celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2005, the club is creating an archive to represent six decades of photography, and some of the work can be viewed on the Conwy Camera Club website .
